    Hello.
    OTR driver with two years exp here.
    No violations, no tickets, no accidents. Nothing.
    Have hauled Reefer, Flat, Tank, and Dry.
    Looking for your guys/gals input on some companies I’m looking into. Current one is going to crapper.

    Morehouse Trucking (Nebraska)
    VanKampen (Wyoming, Mi)
    Cedarpoint (idaho)
    Killpack (Idaho)
    James H Clark (dakotas?)
    Decker (Iowa)
    Doug Andrus (Utah)

    I’m looking for 40 + cpm
    Insurance (would need ASAP for family)
    Decent home time (reset 7 days +/-)

    There's a company here called Halberslabun, based out of SLC, they do regional, have a lot of newer 680's, and start guys at $.40. I found this out cause I keep my truck at their terminal here.

    That’s kind of what my thought was. Already over that this year in take home. My thought would be 45 would be average driver. 60 would be dispatchers favorites.

    And was top hand pay as of around 1998...

    You should be getting at least .60, I would not go out as a company hand for less than .70 these days. I consider .50 basic training pay these days.

    Inflation, inflation and more inflation. Give it enough time and we will be zimbabwe, making a million per mile.. urg... /snarky...
