Hello, I have worked for YRC for almost 3 years. I don't know if this belongs here but the lack of safety at this company is ridiculous. I would like to know if every LTL company is like this. Getting paid the amount you are owed is another issue. Dispatchers taking revenge out on some drivers if they refuse to buy certain items in other states just because they happen to be making deliveries there is on routine basis. Fresh dispatchers start out nice. then get the " hands on training " and a insert a stick up their ### to stick it to every driver they come across. Of course being lied to regularly is not anything new, its just something I have come to expect.

one company i worked for, NEMF (out of business now) had a terminal on Long Island.

THAT driver would just buy freshly baked NY bagels and give them to the terminal manager and the office people (once in a while). but he was never MADE to buy things for anyone in the office.

the o/p deleted much of his posting, so i'll only surmise, he was asked to maybe buy cigarettes (cheaper) in another state than where he was based out of.

seems like a "simple favor", which can go a LONG WAY in getting a favor in return at a later time..

what's that old saying.."one hand washes the other"?

so as i "see it", you took pics of someone's problems. as i sit here, i highly doubt all those pics are from trucks or trailers that you pulled.
