I googled the flu stats. The CDC says up to 55 million Americans will get the flu this year.
Up to 750,000 americans will be hospitalized, between 24,000 and 63,000 Americans will die and it kills people of all ages, kids, middle age, old folks. People are forgetting how deadly the flu is.

Tha Asian flu in 1956 - 1958 killed 70,000 americans. The spanish flu in 1918 - 1920 killed up to 100 million worldwide. So far as we know, the covid -19 kills between 1/2 - 2 percent, mostly older people with chronic health problems.

If 55 million Americans get Covid 19, the numbers aren't going to be pretty. Half a million deaths, maybe much more, if the medical facilities get run over.

Everyone doesn't get a fever. Symptoms can vary widely from on person to the next. My wife has been coughing and short of breath for a couple weeks now but her doc doesn't think she has the virus. But to be safe, I took her to a local drive through testing clinic the health people had nearby today. They screen everyone pretty thoroughly and sent some people away with no test. But they tested my wife and not only that but they tested me too. Outside of a little cough that I probably got from the wife I've been feeling fine.
We can get the results online next Wednesday.
And for anyone that wants to get tested, I wouldn't wish that test on anyone. They took swabs that must have been soaking in Jalapeno juice and ram them way up my nose. My nose was on fire for awhile after that.

I have two neighbors that I really despise; probably ask them for a ride to the hospital for my torn rotator cuff or sprained ankle or something.
