Can You Trust Free Antivirus Software?

    I have had avast! for 4 virus free years. And I look at a ton of porn!! :lol:

    I use AVG, but have friends who use Avira and Avast with no problems.

    I have had avast for about 3 years and never had any problems with it,its done a great job.

    I'm glad all you guys have had good experiences.

    Cuz I was about to announce the guy that wrote the story was a shill for the apps.

    I've used them all, and they all failed miserably. But then again, I play in places most people wouldn't think of.

    It HAS to be quality. Or I'm hosed no less than twice a week.

    Hell I catch more crap in a week, than most people see in a year. Most times my AV works in the background. But I've caught several items before the AV even determined it was there.

    It's a normal week when I remove a downloader and/or a couple of trojans.

    I have noticed an uptick in legitimate websites getting hosed...and hosing me in return :biggrin_25510:
