I went through the training. I was treated fairly. They will give you a job with FFE when you pass. They pay/mile. No bonus pay. For me it's a starter company. I'll put in my 6 mos and move on.

Snow Hater is KLLM/FFE training contract only 6 months? If so that's one of the shortest I know of.

The contract is 1 year. After school when going solo at FFE you get some loads, but as a newbie you won't get the best loads and are usually the last ones to get loads.

After 6 months and you have proven to be a good driver (no accidents, tickets, good inspections) the loads pick up.

This year is different because of everything that is going on. They kept evryone rolling with no layoffs. Pretty good since our loads are primary restaurants, schools, and hospitals.

My rookie year I made 58k with them. I also don't turn down loads and will always help out local and regional while waiting for a load.

What a messed up time we are all living in folks. Now looking at the broad spectrum of things I have come to realize that I cannot afford to leave my family for that long without income for them. Dreams and aspirations of providing for your family have turned into worries and fears of surviving the next week/month....hell even day by day. We are in strange territory and times but we can get thru this together, but not until we quit tearing each other apart as a society and country. God bless you all and God bless America

My bad. My reference to 6 mos is that many companies have a requirement of 6 months experience before they will consider hiring a driver.

I will repeat, I've been treated fairly even as a new driver. There are places I'd rather not go but I go anyway because I agreed to do that in exchange for money.

I'd like to see better pay, who wouldn't, but that is unlikely here.

I'm trying to decide between Millis and Wilson, any insight would be helpful. Thank you.

Personally, I'd go with Wilson because Wilson has regional and 48 states running.
Both companies have an excellent reputation though.
