    You were probably their greatest asset. It's a shame so many companies hit the crapper when a driver leaves. They often turn to lease/purchase arrangements to put out the dumpster fire their company has become.

    I came into the transportation industry in 2014 and discovered these lease-to-own deals at that time.

    It is a carbon copy of the used car lot "buy-here-pay-here" scam.

    Thank you @Lonesome once again you have hit the nail on the head with your assessment of all things trucking and leasing and now my phone is ringing off the hook with people wanting to get on the BYOB&CBD gravey train. I need to replenish my supply of mudflaps, mattresses and pointy lugnut covers.

    Can confirm this is a good deal. My friend's cousin's friend leased from them, and he said he makes 10k a week while he was paying for all our lapdances at the club the other night.
