Any truckers on here use libraries or gyms? How would that work?

Can you mail library books back to return them? But then how would u check out another one when you're on the road? I like to read scifi but I'm having trouble figuring out how if there's a way to use the library still. There are digital books but the selection is limited and I kind of prefer reading actual paper books.

Are there any truck stops with gyms? Or do guys just find a spot to park near a 24 hour fitness every once in awhile? Because I want to get back in shape and I also probably will just want to stretch my legs and back and whatnot.

(Obviously things are closed currently because of covid, but they should be back to normal in a few months. Please, this isn't a political post, please don't start about politics)

As far as working out buy a nationwide membership and use google maps to check for nearby parking. Most don't have truck parking on the property. I had planet fitness but cancelled last year cause of pandemic closures.

No library options other than order books to be held at your home library and bring them with until your next home time. I tried books on tape back in the day but found reading the physical copy more suitable for me. Lots of podcasts out there and maybe even a book reading podcast.
Satellite radio has been a real changer for me.

I guess I could just check out a ton of books when I'm home. I think my library allows about 40 at once

Library books are gonna be impossible. Unless you check some out at your home base and return em when you get back.
Gyms are few and far between I believe.
Or you could get a flatbed gig and get plenty of excessive.

    Yup.
Not cost effective or convenient to mail books on a regular basis.

Get used to reading on your phone, and getting out for walks. Basic calisthenics will help get you started, especially if you're not already in shape. While you're learning though most of your time is going to be tied up, and even on downtime you'll be farigued.
