I bought some Scrubblades. @blairandgretchen mentioned them somewhere on this site, and they work like a charm. I'll never use regular blades again.

I make my own windshield washer, but I don't rely on it to clean bugs off. Instead I reconfigure my breaks toward truck stops, pull into one of the far fuel lanes, and use their stuff. Sometimes 2 or 3 times per day. It's a passable way of getting a little activity in, stretching the limbs and letting the blood flow.

I also have a big strong sprayer of 85-90% diluted simple green in case they only put water in the squeegee buckets.

I use a generic household cleaner/degreaser something like Simple Green but a lot cheaper. I mix that 50/50 with water in a spray bottle with an adjustable nozzle. Whenever I am fueling, I spray the windshield giving it a good soaking then leave it for a few minutes before going over it with the squeegee.

    Never fails to remove bugs.
