Jeeeeeze. You can't think of any reason they got your number? You really got a ticket for 4 over?

If your in super remote areas where the authorities are broke and maybe even double time if your plate is from out of state. But 4 Over?

I agree, always feel comfortable and right at home in Louisiana. Same with Eastern Tennessee. The people are friendly and welcoming. Very easy to spark a conversation, or have a laugh. I tried to explain this to my daughter, how the people in both places seem to be the friendliest of all. She argued, saying it was anecdotal on my part. Based on my perceptions, due to childhood memories. Lol. I considered her theory. But I’m right, no two ways about it. Seen proof too many times.

 

Try to keep your cool. I lost it once during a shakedown in Pa. Argued with them, told them what I really think about it all. Couple Locals, They finally shut me down. I was on pc. Empty 1 mile from delivery. Log book said off duty. Legally I was right. They gave me a falsifying logs ticket. Had to go to court. Got it reduced to not current Log. $50 fine. I made them earn it. 3 hrs arguing on roadside, and an hour in court. I wanted to appeal based on principle. I was right. Still had to rent a car, drive 300 miles in a blizzard to Pittsburg area. It sure felt good though to stand up against them, shaking my finger in their face. Told him what I thought about them. Lol. I wasn’t admitting to anything.

 

When you get pulled over that much, it’s enough to make you paranoid. Reminiscent of being a teenager, driving a car with no insurance, improper plates. Title never transferred, suspended License, and Alcohol and other substances in the vehicle, with a few friends with outstanding warrants. At least that was fun. Now everythings Legal, trying to be as safe as possible to protect my Livelihood. Getting treated like a Criminals no fun at all. I guess it’s all just odds. Sometimes things happen in waves.

 

Yeah i used to like idaho. But I spend a lot of time looking in my mirrors everytime i pass a cop and sweating out each time i go over the scales anymore. Makes trucking not much fun . but it is what it is. My company doesnt have the best safety score in the world so that is part of the problem as well.

 

Today it is so bad that I have not even grossed $100 on food delivery I can't wait to get my CDL. Good weather is bad for my business

 

Where ya gonna start out at ? Ur in Washington ? Wilson out of missoula mt has a school and system transport out of spokane has a school as well i believe . both great starter companies. What side of the industry ya wanna go into ?

 

I have my CDL permit test on 30th, I am confident I will pass it, then I will talk to Wilson logistics
