So you’re a dog guy then. What you need is a Maine Coon. They’re the best of both worlds.

No they don’t ever fully freeze. Just the St Clair and Detroit rivers. Two Ice Cutters work Port Huron to Toledo. Lake St Clair is shallow, avg 5-7 ft. The Shipping channel is dug to around 35-40ft.

So it appears the Ozark mountains are more than just rolling hills. Decided to take the shortest truck legal route from Springfield, Mo to Memphis. WHOOPS!

We weren't raised to keep animals as pets. An animal either did work or got sent down the road. A lot of people see that as cold but pets just don't fit in with the way we live and work.
I like a good cow dog. We have a couple of Queenslands that earn their keep. I got a Black Lab pup a couple of years ago but he turned out to be gun shy. Luckily for him he developed an interest in eating gophers and voles that he digs out of the pastures.. He's a better hunter than most cats.

What exactly is a Maine Coon?

This is why trucks are just bad.

Clog up roads, and tear up yards.
