Very very strange. If pilot owns Flying J..i hope they dont screw it up. Pilot SUCKS. If Flying J's deli is replaced with subway i will no longer be a customer except when absolutely required for fuel...and except for the benton harbor location because therse cute girls that work there.
Pilot now owns Flying J. Here are the changes you will see. They all will start taking Comdata. As part of there deal with Bosselmens, All shops acquired will be turned into Big Boss shops. As part of there deal with Bosselmens and Denny's all restaurants will be turned into GrandMa Max's or Denny's. Don't know how many of which but I'd bet about 50/50. Personally I'd like to see a whole lot more GrandMa Max's.
Pilot? Who'da figured? Do y'all think things will improve over what Flying J has offered in the past? Or deteriorate? Bosselmens Big Boss Shops, Denny's and Grandma Max's? Man-0-Man! When things change, they don't mess around.
From what I heard they were going to change to IHOP's or Denny's. I don't think Pilot wants any more Grandma Max's as sad as that is. They just took the Grandma Max's in Jamestown, NM and made it a Denny's.
I stopped at the J in Fargo. The clerk told me that they would most likely not be taking comdata. She was told that the merger was denied. I have not found anything to support this.
