Not sure what it is . V8 that came out of a 2016 GMC. Think it's the stock motor. Had it towed in. Said it was hydrolocking then it started pinging and then just shut off .

Ever have someone do the ‘tire kicker’ ploy on you?

Had a pickup for sale. A buddy expresses interest and you give him a buddy price that’s fair but thousands less than you’d advertise to a stranger. Buddy tells a friend of his, and friend inquires about the buddy price. Is the friend of a friend a friend? Usually not.

Friend comes over, looks at the truck, and plays the tire kicker card. That permanently ended any hope of a sale. We’re done.

Buddy called the next day. “It’s no longer for sale.” A couple months go by. Buddy asked me if I still have the truck. Yessir. “Hey Six, what happened with you and Friend?” He tried to tire kick a buddy price.

You know how to tell when someone thinks you’re stupid?

Good one. The 3 closest IHOPs near me were closed for years. The owner was arrested buildings were seized in a money laundering ring. They are back open, but don't impress me. Rather eat at Waffle house.

My absolute worst restaurant experience was at an IHOP. Ordered the Colorado omelette and my nephew ordered their biscuits and gravy. They put a frozen biscuit under hot gravy and made my omelette without using eggs.

“How is that even possible, Six?”

They used pancake batter. Should have known something was wrong. Saturday morning and they only had one couple in there…and they were waiting to speak to the manager about their food.
