I assume your talking about a Medicare supplemental plan….? Because a no one wants to write a single medical policy
just go online to the providers in your area. i am with BC/BS Medicare Advantage Value Plan. for me, it's a good plan Humana has an equally good plan. i'd not call anyone, they can track your phone number, nor would i email them. shop thier websites, they are pretty darned good at explaining things. best thing about the Medicare Advantage plans, is that you pay no monthly premiums, they get paid by SS when SS deducts your medicare each month. some meds will be free, some you might have to pay. once you decide on knowing more, you might be able to go to thier "stores" locally like with BC/BS, "Blue Store", sit down and bring a list of your meds. you will find out from that meeting your meds costs. some are free, some are $4, some are $8, and up....generics are usually 0 with my BC/BS i get a "spending card, that they add $60 a quarter for me to buy OTC meds, or other health care products i also get $200 a year for glasses and i usually always get what they pay for, no fancy frames that cost more. so my eye glasses are free, every year. take a list of your doctors as well, to make sure they are in your network coverages. also with my plan, my primary doctor has to send referrals to the specialists. my primary doctor visit is 0 specialists are $30 per visit.
Get a Google voice number and use that for all the shopping. That way you can set that number not to ring while still being able to use your "real" phone normally.
