what's wrong with people?! Lawless America: Truck Hauling Corvettes Hijacked In 'Grand Theft Auto'-Like Robbery | ZeroHedge
He knew he would be caught. He must have considered prison his home. He most likely was institutionalized. He did just the thing to take him back to prison.
Once a loser, always a loser. I mean, of all the ways to "get home", he picks this? Sure he did. He didn't swipe a load of Kias, he knew exactly what he was doing. He probably saw from the prison yard, load after load of Corvettes go by, upon release, made some calls, and the real kicker, is he got away with it,,,for a while. You'd think something as valuable as a load of new Corvettes, would be better guarded. Besides, I live in a state that the prisons have like a 2 hour wait for the tennis courts. As society crumbles, guys like this know no other way, and prison life, for them, is actually the lesser of 2 evils. Meals, healthcare, your own toilet, what's not to like? I say, the real deterrent to crime is, send them to those urine soaked heckholes in Peru, THAT would change their minds.

this is why i was always a believer in ... 3 strikes and you're out shoot on site death penalty no bail whatsoever for repeat customers of the state full serving of jail time,. no parole for good behavior, or compassionate reasons no probation make them work on a good old fashion chain gang. time in a hot box for bad behavior in jail bread and water only no tv, no library, only 30 minutes in the yard.
and if the driver let him take the truck and shot him, for stealing over 1 million dollars worth of property, He wouldn't need 30 minutes in the yard.
