In the root of the drive you should see the folders - Navi, RM, Navimaps, and NaviVoices...

also you should see a file called NaviInfo... do you see this file?

Under navimaps you should see a whole list of files...

Have you tried to connect it to the Dock and update it?

    Thanks,
    Mark

Could it be a problem with the TND dock? can i reinstall that? I tried before and it said i had a higher version then what was on the GPS so it wouldn't let me reinstall it.

With the folders you deleted, upon boot up of the TND will state system files missing. They are... You should be able to connect to the TND dock and update to rebuild the missing folders.

In the root of the TND directory, you need the NaviInfo file and the Navi\user folder to be able to have the Dock rebuild all the deleted folders.

    Thanks,
    Mark

We are going to try to delete some Dock installed files on your computer. The Dock keeps a copy of all files each time you update, but these may be out of sync and not allowing you to update...

    Thanks,
    Mark

If you get "system files missing" and you can actually read the wording on the folders on the TND, then I usually can get you up and running with some file replacements..

In dealing with the Internet and downloads, files do corrupt sometimes in the download process.

Uninstalling and reinstalling the TND is the first thing to try.

Then deleting the Navi\bin and the Navi\layouts folders only and letting the TND Dock reinstall them.

Lastly, their are a few folders on your C:\ that the TND Dock uses to compare what is on your TND versus what is on the updates. These can become unstable sometimes.

So, I am happy you got your TND up and running... let it charge for a few hours and then do a Full backup...

Have a safe trip and stay out of the doghouse.

    Thanks,
    Mark
