Yeah, okay, I got busted but that's another story that I'll hold until the end....of your life!:biggrin_25522:

Have you ever been inspected, ticketed, escorted to your 10hr spot and actually had a good time with it? Belly-laughing with the state police has got to be unusual to say the least but that's what happened to me this morning. One of the officers actually told me he would sit and answer any questions I might have about regs until his shift was over...how cool is that?

(BTW, neither of the officers was complimentary about Swift and that's putting it mildly.)

Thats kewl! Hey, cops are people too, I'd imagine they like to laugh just as much as I do. When they run the roadblocks where I live, I'm the first to start with the stupid jokes (once they realize that I'm neither drunk or illegal in any way). I like getting a smile out of folks, especially an officer that has to work overnights doing silly stuff like roadblocks.

I told one of the officers that I had just been on home time and had simply gotten out of rythm on my logs. He said, "I understand but you're still getting the ticket. Ya gotta start thinking with your "big" head again...home time's over".:biggrin_25525:

You REALLY have some 'splainin' to do! Take a "long weekend"...in Maine of all places....and first day back on the road...you get a "souvenir"(?)...shut down....enough of the "spin"...we want the whole story....leave no room for doubt!:yes2557:

How many points on your "formerly clean" CSA did you acquire?:biggrin_2552:

They don't like Swift? How interesting, everytime I've been inspected or stopped the comments are always favorable towards Swift. Maybe they're just being nice to me.

Sonny.....the fact that you got ticketed and escorted to your 10 hr stop suggests to me that you ran over your 11 or your 14. Jez sayin........

Signature missing, no BOL/Commodity on log(s), logs ended on first day of hometime and, oops, didn't pick back up until yesterday when I went back on line 4 (PTI). Hometime days not accounted for. Change of duty location not written in on flag line. My bad all around there even though I fully intended to "catch up" for the off-duty days when I shut down tonight. Lesson learned...wallet burned!!!!

The tractor and trailer passed with flying colors (brief inspection). The driver, on the other hand.....not so much!:biggrin_2553:
