Nah... just think how many more pallets you can load on a trailer if 10-ton-teddy ain't behind the wheel!

Exactly.....the company I am driving for has a small turn-over rate. It took me over 4 years to get a job here, and I am on my 5th year.

    AfterShock and JimDriv3r Thank this.

I have seen drivers so fat that they had to take rest breaks just walking across the parking lot. A stroke/heart attack looking for a place to happen.
I wonder how they could even get into their trucks without the use of a crane; seriously.
But I am not sure they were "Prime" drivers.

Heck... I've seen owner-operators so large they need a crane to get them out of the truck!

Iy seems like the route alot and many more Trucking companies are going to honor. I have had this disscusion with health proffesionals and especialy with males. the BMI is not always correct even though it is a tool. The best way to determine is the body fat ratio. I now lost 126 pounds and decreased my body fat and put me in a safe BMI range..........if anything being over weight sucks and most of can lose weight...........you just have to want to do it. But if this does go into effect.........then we all are screwed.

It has to do with the CSA 2010 under driver fitness.
