But today is one of those days I shoulda just stayed in bed...got a ticket today in Louisiana...disobey traffic control...hell, I never even saw the "traffic control" and neither did several other trucks (its a "truck only" thing)...the bridge there at the 29 mile marker westbound.

They are routing trucks around it while they are working on the bridge...

He said there were signs...but I sure didn't see them.

 

Maybe he thought they werent put up yet....

 

Broke down in Lytle, TX...looks like an injector went bad.

This was/is sorta funny...

When I called in to tell them about being broke down Bo answered the phone...I began the conversation with "My bad luck knows no bounds this week..."

Bo replied with "Don't tell me the Mexicans have confiscated your truck and thrown you in prison..."

It made me laugh...and he had a point....bad luck can always be worse.

Its 2 injectors...waiting on parts, still broke down.

 

Oh...I haven't told you guys about the deer I hit the other night.

About 1/4 of a mile from where I drop my trailer when I go home....WHAM!

Broke the left corner of the bumper (#### plastic bumpers), I was only going about 40 MPH so it wasn't a catastrophic impact for the truck...but the deer didn't fare so well.

2 bunjees on the bumper now to keep it off the tire...

 

Whats holding the deer on? Lol

 

It just won't end...

The shop left the valve covers too loose...oil is pouring out of this thing...stopped again (Pearsall, TX this time)

EDIT: All the bolts in the valve cover were just finger tight.

 

Wow that sucks. Might need to have a chat with that shop.
