the great big hole in the chain link fence at the back is probably a factor too..

I wouldn't leave diddle in a truck if I was going to be gone even overnight. Its bad enough around a truck-stop . Buy a big bag and just throw everything in there and take it home.

Its worth 30 minutes of your time to do it.

I had a guy try to come in my tractor in north carolina and I was leaned back in the seat with my underwear on.Once a thief has success in a yard like that, he is coming back.

    Guaranteed.

    Peace

sorry for the loss, but on the other hand , you still got a truck too drive and make money with, they could've torch the truck , then you be sitting waiting on anthor truck, thats always my fear at truckstop, torch my truck after they rob it , my truck got broke into right behind my house as i stopped in for the night and we went out too eat, i guess drug people need there drugs, course only thing they got out mine was a 6 pack of coke, i just sit in there a hour before, i just came from freight liner and put in a new right windsheild and the truck was empty, cause i empty it while at the house and had freight liner detail it too, so i was just gonna grab a soda after dinner head back too the yard get my other truck , i was getting a newer truck , so on the way up i had some soda too drink, but i guess not so i spent anthor 3 days, now im up to 7 days at home , boss man wasnt too happy and on a 06 freight shaker the vent window at freight line came under$789 .:biggrin_25513::biggrin_2558:

Dang. If i can get on with Watkins Shepard Modesto would be my home terminal. Do you have to park the truck at the terminal?

haha anyone who has been near modesto can believe its one of the worst cities. even when i parked by my house i took everything out. kind of your bad there, but i do believe the worst in people. also as far as i know unless you have some really nice insurance company, they wont cover personal items. we just had a rash of break ins and a whole car stolen where i am working now, nothing was covered for the guys who lost electronics and stuff. i would bug the company about it though, i mean we are on our management hard to get cameras and possible build a security gate for the employee lot.

i never parked at the terminal, but i also lived really close.

Sad part is that most companies key their trucks the same.

I had to park my truck at the yard for another company and I took everything of value with me. Even for a night.

One weekend, someone just unlocked the truck and made themselves at home and trashed the truck.

Sorry to hear this, Let us know what the company does for you. I'm guessing but I'm not going to say right now.
