I am not to worried about money yet. Just getting frustrated but when i talked to them yesterday it sounded like Thurdsay or friday for sure this week. Just sucks sitting here thinking about it and waiting for the call. Going to call again tomorrow see if they can give me a update.

I knew there was a possibility of waiting when I chose flatbed, But I really just don't want to haul a van around everyday. I want some variety and challenges.

I chose to go with Roehl due to in all my searching i have found more good stuff than bad. ( plus they were the only company besides FFE that called me back )

Well as you can tell I work for Werner and yes I will be pulling a van when I get out of training. I'm in my 4th week of training, I still have about a month left, when I get done, I'm going to be hauling orange juice from Florida to California, then to Chicago, then something back to Florida, same stuff, same route, over and over and over, for about 6 months then I might switch to an OTR/ 48 state ride so I can see all there is to see and different driving conditions, I can't wait........But I guess I'll have too.

Only good thing to come of waiting would be all the time i get to spend with kids and family. But my GF is starting to get pissy that I am home everyday all day.

I have my cdl already but I have to go through their driving school. They really only want to put the people whom they know can be hired by Roehl. The last Friday of the 3 week class is your official hire date according to Kim my recruiter. Currently I'm a Paramedic in Orlando. Just waiting for the go ahead date.

I think I touch my atlas once a week.

Then again I'm on routes I've been down countless number of times so I guess that makes a difference.

I need to study the back of my eye lids some more, that one always is nice to study.
