Thanks Treefork. I'm gonna miss otr but that may change once I see the paychecks. It's salary with guaranteed $xxx every week.

I told my dispatcher I didn't want to burn a bridge so I'd like to give my two weeks.

Yeah sorry to see you go as well. Now update on travel.
I got one of those multiple notices on Qualcomm and a phone call, I was just north of Scranton so stopped at Petro. I was told this load is now being relayed to a "rail" station in Pittsburg so got rerouted down I99 to US22. Went about 20 more miles and ran into a wall of snow and pulled off in rest are mm243. Called in and said no way I can make it to Pittsburg with drive time left (5hrs 36min) the going already slowed and snow building up on road. I would like to go farther but told them now it's going to be a race to find parking, and with the new route of US22 I do not want to get stuck on a non-interstate in the mountains of PA in a big snowstorm. So I'm making a command decision and staying put. To avoid confusion I'm on I80 now.

When I parked in Madison snow storm last week it was no questions asked. You shouldn't get any backlash, safety first.

Nah, it was all good. After I called. I also sent qc message on where I was, and what I was doing so there was an official record of it.
