Made it to New Caney Flying hook. Unloading at 6am then shoot over a few miles and grab my load going back to Ohio. Hopefully the thunderstorms don't hit too hard. Don't think they'll run a crane with lightning

I keep seeing those loads out of Hawesville, but I never see them going to a good location.
Are those ingots coming out of the aluminum plant? I only see loads going to Texas and Iowa. It's a shame because it's easy driving distance from the house.

Yup they sure are ingots and they are only going about 90 miles from the house. They are going to Alcoa in Bettendorf IA. Nice thing about that is that its close to Deere and we have short freight out of the quad cities.

I deadheaded from Richardson, TX to Athens, TX, to pick up a truck, I show up, truck is gone.....NICE! So I turn around and DH to OKC loading a Lull going to Rockdale, Il and pick up some truck bodies in KS which if you haven't noticed is going to have a Blizzard, so my nice leisurely week I had planned has been tossed, here I sit at the Petro in OKC to wait til tomorrow

Fill me in in the morning, I'll drive through it anyway because I don't have a brain in my skull, and I got a hot date
