Hi, i'm in need of some assistance. I`m in process of registering my truck but the state wants my mil from june 2011 to july 2012, the thing is people who are working on my ifta do not keep records once they file, which i did Not know Now i do keep my routes (pick up and delivery locations) my question is, is there software/web service where i can enter my origin and destination which will show me mil per state, thx
well for starters they have to keep all records of IFTA filings for no less than 3 years someone is yanken your chain and don't want to dig out the paper work.
pc miler will do that,,their are other programs and software also.one is called, Easy Trucking Software.
Your IFTA filings will have those miles on them. But if you where leased to a carrier they may not break the miles out by driver and just lump them together.
Im pretty sure they have to break them down by unit number and report miles in each state by each truck .
Yap they lump them all together, still looking for software that can break miles by state when i input origin and destination, thx everyone.
Nope, when we had our lease op, all miles are lumped into one field on the reporting, along with the gallons. You could use the trip sheets if the company still has those, plug them into a spread sheet and get the total for the year.
