Guess you just can't please everyone!:biggrin_25513:

My parents used to take me there too, when I was a kid. We made a lot of trips from Pueblo to Cheyenne . . . :yes2557: I'll admit that I don't remember what we used to eat, back then.:biggrin_25513: But I sure do remember their apple pie w/cheese melted on it when I drove out of Denver.

I'm not a big fan of cinnamon rolls, so I won't comment on them. I eat them occasionally, I'm just not a connoisseur of them.

I will say this about Johnson's Corners though - the CB shop is one of the best in the country, and is the only one I'll let work on my radio(s).

They've been in business repairing radios almost since dinosaurs walked the planet, and they do good quality work at reasonable prices!

There are some places that can do modifications to your radio, that while increasing the power, will cause your transistors to overload and burn out in a few weeks/months. Johnson's Corner won't do anything that'll damage your radio - they'll tell you the pro's and con's of any modifications you ask for, and won't do the ones that screw up your radio!

You couldn't ask for a better, more trustworthy place to do business!

One of the best truck stops in the US and it is an independent truck stop. At least they put the money back into the place and did a complete makeover a few years ago.

The food here is ok...Its nothing to make an absolute stop for... One thing for sure is if your gonna stop make sure to goto the actual resturant... their quick deli is horrible... the lot they have has a good amount of parking but not paved... I wouldnt make this a must stop for me...

Hmm if it's not so good, why is it that it's always busy with locals. Been there for 40 years+
I have been there about 30 times in 10 years, 4 times before I got into trucking, never had a bad meal there

When it comes to parking in Denver or sleeping there I would pick Johnson's Corner any night. It's convenient if you are headed to Walmart or JBS coming from I-25/I-70 or vise versa.

I LOVE Johnson's Corner!! The dirt lot kinda sucks in bad weather, but the food makes up for it! I think their service is outstanding and their coffee isn't too bad either! Great place to go and be!!

Johnson's Corner is awesome . I take my family for Sunday breakfast a couple of times a year . When my brother is driving thru , we leave his truck at the truckstop and visit.
