I have first hand experience with this. It happened to me. I left orientation and they labeled it on my DAC as Resigned/Quit. They also hit me with a Not Eligible For Rehire. I had some problems come up at home and I explained why I needed to leave. I asked if I could return once I got everything worked out and they said it would be fine. When I called to return, they wouldn't take me. They already had me labeled as Not Eligible For Rehire. Basically, like someone said earlier, if you physically go to orientation and take a drug test, it's going on your DAC. If you just get scheduled, but call the company and back out before you ever go, it will not show up.

I did this w/ a company sort of like this. I got called in to orientation, but didnt even show up. Not sure if this did anything to my DAC hopefully not, because I didnt even show up. I heard alot of bad things from this company so I just didnt even show up for the first day. Didnt recieve any call backs on to as why or what not. How do you check your DAC btw.

It's better to quit now before getting assigned equipment and making money. If you yhave not received any monies from them they do not have to be shown on your reporting and they should not put you on the DAC. They may say you owe for physical and urine test but that's better than the alternative if you have bad feelings. What ever you do stay away from K&B out of South Sioux City Ne.

It should not have went on your dac. Before you are employed officially by a trucking company you need to accept equipment and drive it. If you have not operated for that carrier and received monies you are clear. You can find this out easily by going to a web site called hireright.com and for 35 $ you can get all kinds of info for a year and renew every year. good luck!!

depends on company about reporting. Drug testing is reportable if your driving for a company. If you leave before you operate their equipment they don't have to report it unless it comes back positive. they keep it on file with your app for dot inspections.

These trucking companies can put this stuff on dac and preety much put false things in that you have not done. It boils down to the integrity of the company and there are few and far between in the market today. If you have not worked for the company how can they put legitimate info on your dac. Companies that do this are just being vendictive and trying to ruin or make it hard for a driver to get as job.

I get what you're saying, but there's no such thing as a positive drug test. It's either pass or fail. Failure to show up for a drug test is noted as a fail, and that would get noted on your DAC if the company uses it. Basically what I'm saying is that if the company schedules you for a drug test and you do not show up for it, you just failed said drug test. That is how bailing orientation can really hurt you.

This is correct. No details, had it happen to myself. Once you are in the system anything can and will happen. If they paid for anything. you are in the system. Recruiters can ding you, requesting to ding you for anything. The recruiter loses his quota etc etc etc... not like the company and walking off saying you are voluntary leaving during orientation . DAC is a Joke.

    Screw recruiters

    Ghost Ryder Thanks this.
