I just go by johnday. I'm thinking of changing it to "funnlehead" though. I was called that the other day by a guy from the south. I have no clue what it means.
they call me Hightower. lil dude at school i asked him how he saw over the steering wheel, if he had phone book to sit on. he says how do u fit in there? i said i rip out the seats and sit in the back. he goes 'ok Hightower' also im 6'7" tall
One that I have had for 22 Yrs is DIRTY DIAPER, With A CHitty Handle, Don't really know why , Then again Don't sit to close to me at Truck stops after I eat, then you'll know why I guess....lol
It took me awhile to decide on a CB handle, too. When the thought process was over, I figured, living in California, it should be what I hear folks fear the most about this state -- Earthquake. But that didn't really sound right. Then, after a few drivers asked me where I'm from, and I told them "Shakeytown" (Los Angeles in trucker terms) it hit me -- "Shakey". But Shakey Earthquake didn't sound right either. After an earthquake, I heard a reporter say that sometimes the aftershock is worse than the actual earthquake. Bingo! Shakey AfterShock was born. AfterShock for short. But I answer to Shakey, too. Friends call me Shockey. Just don't call me late for dinner.
Preacherman. Talked to a lot of "lost" souls on the radio over the years about the Lord. Lots of drivers don't want to hear it, fine, I usually took a private conversation that had been started on 19 up to another channel. I didn't really come to that one myself, it was handed over to me by several people that knew me well when I first got it.....
Spongebob, since my nickname is Bob and I am a spongy (round) guy. And no, I do not have Squarepants (read the round part again).
Well... it changed today. They're calling me Repo now. Had to go take a guys truck that hasn't been showing up for work. So now I guess I'm the repo man.
