walmart is the best driving job i've ever had

Any info on the Opelika DC? I know its a grocery DC. Just wondering where they run and is their operation different from the G M DC?

 

they were hiring not to long ago... different in the sense that it is multi stop scenario, on majority of runs that is. Activity pay is where it's at. Not usre on the running area, hopefully a local will chime in.

You will also pull GM freight(drop/hook) out of your sister GM DC. Pretty easy stuff.

 

I love Walmart's Private Fleet drivers. I know quite a few of them because I work at a Walmart store and get to see them park their trucks to the docks. They are some of the safest drivers in the industry and they aren't hassled if they park overnight at a Walmart. They don't litter in the shopping carts and they check for anything that might be under their trailer if before they pull out such as shopping carts. Every year they go without an accident they get a belt buckle, they used to get toy trucks as safety awards at one point in time

 

great job.. I just started last week.. love it already.. very easy.. great equipment and everyone has positive attitudes about the job. I just got my feet wet.. only regrets is I did not start years ago!!!
