    Forgot about the 34.

I drove across the road to Frog City, went in the restaurant and picked with 2 cute waitresses. Went outside and everyone was standing in the parking lot looking at the sitting traffic. The other truck I was with had an issue with his trailer. It could have been a simple fix with the right bolts. He opted to go to the TA. I told him that a hardware store was less than a mile away. He decided to get out and play in traffic. Took him almost 5 hours to go from Frog City to the TA. Then, the TA dropped the ball, never called him in and so he didn't get out of there until this morning, with a thousand mile run and a 0700 appointment. On elogs.

I stayed put until 1930. Rolled out and the first time I stopped was in Monkey. Did a 30, got back in and hammered up the bigroad. Hit my destination at 0630, crashed until 2.

Think I want to go north for a bit, where they aren't so quick to shut down the roads.

Yeah, Mark just ran a set out of Wichita with the old trailer. I think we're done with the Wichita fiasco. Bill (Skin Head - and I resent um I mean resemble that remark) is a good guy but the girls on the unloading crew, well, ooh la la!! You have to try and get a set you can unload during the week. Mark was keeping a big secrete there then I took a set in and realized why he was all of the sudden so happy with the load again.

I have another one of those Quick Draw double drops here with your name all over it ;)

This trlr is one of the open steps with rigging welded down.
I thought that they had issues with damaging freight loading their stuff on an angle inside those QD rgns?
Oh whell ,,, enjoyed the "WARM" way too much down here.. now gotta haul butt

Haulhand, I saw that Giraffe in Rock Springs, but you have to push it over to your trailer, I guess? It seems safer just to climb on the trailer to close the lids. Do they care if you do it that way instead of using the Giraffe?

Just got my GA permit at 1645. I was fretting a little bit. 50,235 pound piece and I'm grossing 80,900 with a half tank. Off to bama, but when I booked this load, there was snow in the forecast. We'll see how it goes. With 39900 on the spread , I should be good!
