    Ok now tjat we got tje radio and shop covered,how bout antenna mounting on a new cascadia..I hate that mirror c bracket..To low and factory came with two ant mounted on cab wall..Useless as t#ts on a bull..I got my predator there now but when tuned its to tall and i hit every overpass on the cross bronx the other day..Bent my new whip and popped off my corona ball..

    Lower yes but not down at the bottom of the mirror mount..To #### easy to have your stuff stolen..Now you need a long shaft to raise the ant again..

    Im tryin to figure out a solution to raise it so whip only goes a few inches above the cab but mounts on the side of the cab twards the back by the flairings..

    Yeah thats all well and good but think about its name.."QUICK DISCONNECT"
    Still want them a lil higher..Base of the ant should be about at the top of the mirror..

    Here is another antenna I built which would work nice on a Cascadia mounted low on the stainless bracket. The top of the whip is right at 13'6"

    Got another pic but taken a lil further back...I hate to have it so low but its better than on back wall of cab..Ill be in carlisle so ill pick up another coax and mount low till i figure out somethin else..

    Ill see how my predator 10k tunes with an 18" solid bottom shaft1 coil instead of 2 and a short top mast..
