I'm at home...and #### why does my family have to be full of good cooks?!

BBQ, creamed corn, Caesar salad, Mac n' cheese, Lima beans and God-knows what else at that family reunion...

You all may call that the simple stuff, but we had enough leftovers to feed every one of you all!

Normally I'd take something... And folks asked what I brought. It was disheartening to tell them I didn't bring anything because I drove all the way from Louisiana.

Last year I brought a homemade key lime pie and a potato and leek au gratin dish that was to die for.

The year before...let's see. I believe it was spinach artichoke dip, homemade apple pie, Greek salad, and I want to say I mixed it up with enchiladas. Yes, all from scratch.

Packing for my trip to the pumpkin patch. Gonna get together with an old friend who lives in Charlotte while I'm down there.

I know... I went to read it and became sad.

They had no game at all...

Most days I might not have much either, but I'm going to agree.

Handling a few things at the house...then headed back to the truck. Gotta be in Statesville, nc by 15:00 to be Maryville, tn by 20:00...

I don't even get a full weekend. Oh well, I've been sitting on my hands more than usual. So I guess it's time to pay the pied piper.
