Chapped, cracking, bleeding lips? I have one word of advice: Carmex. Hands down the best lip treatment on the market. It has lanolin in it, aka sheep sweat. Naturally helps heal. I used it on Denali, three weeks of temperatures down to -45°F. Works well in the summer heat running to the oil patch. Get the tiny yellow squeeze bottle at most truck stops or at Walmart.
Once the temps hit 34C (93F) I start slowing down (my work pace) and just don't feel like moving at all. Not sure how you guys in the 100+ zones do it on a daily basis.
Years ago my company had a "rewards" system for idling. The less idle percent u had the faster ur truck would run. Then a driver died of heat stroke sleeping in his truck down in nm. But they saved 1 gallon per hour of us not idling!
No No dam way I'm cooking ! In my kitchen now but when I leave tmw truck will run ..this is the time of year when I idle .
