I just talked with a landstar driver who is coming to sni next week...he told of the nightmares over there..$117 wk in fees...lands tar charges the drivera to put fuel $ on their cards charges them for direct deposit among many others....that's just a sample of the problems.

Fees arent a big deal as long as they have good paying loads makes up for it, however for van apparently it sucks now

Been running 3 weeks straight. Had a few cancel loads. But, I recoverd and found better loads. Taking home 3 grand a week ain't bad. Still loving choice.

I'd say it's safe to assume the agent trucks get the best loads first, then other agents helping other agents out.. followed by oh yeah the Landstarve drivers.

Only pro Landstar has compared to SNI from what I have seen is you can lease on ANYTHING over there! I've seen Landstar trucks that look like they just came out of a scrap yard, so I'm sure they wouldn't have a problem with gliders.

Landstar drivers quit and go to sni, sni drivers quit then go to Landstar so what..I never equate one person's opinion of a company as the be all end all of the company... And to be honest jumping from van company to van company you're just a dog chasing his own tail... One guy can have no clue how to run a business and blame it on a company.. It's not the company fault you can't run a truck You're just an idiot.. so I hold driver's opinion of companies with a grain of salt... Cause to be honest I'll take fees over more independence and the ability to get rates adjusted anyday sooooo... Carry on

So why do you guys have such an ax to grind against landstar? They are no different than any other agent based company, the got good agents with good freight, and lazy agents with nothing but brokered freight.

    driverdriver and duddie Thank this.
