Is the beverage side of trucking the only one that allows a "normal" work schedule??

So I work at Coke, right now we're working at about 41-45 hrs a week.. In the summer it's 50-60 hrs..

Is there anyone who works near the 40-45 hr mark??

I just get turned off at some companies who have you working 12 hr shifts 5 days a week.. The money is good I bet, but where is the quality of life?? Life's more than sitting in a truck all day..

Trying to find a local job that meets that balance (besides beverage)

Dozons of options. Private fleets are the answer. Run for someone who runs their own goods. Plumbing, electrical, equipment (think lulls, forklifts ect..) most roll off companies, general supply companies like grainger and tractor Supply....

I work in the bulk side, I don't mind the work it's just you depend on alot of people with this job, and sometimes I get really frustrated over other peoples mistakes affecting my work...

Another thing, I watched my mother have a job where she didn't have 2 consecutive days off, for a life and my sanity I'm going to require my next job to give me 2 days off in a row..
