I am confident on the boost gauge and pyro. I had to install them before I started on the screws. Is the stock turbo sufficient for 2 more turns?

Yes the stock turbo on a 3zj is fine.
Its actually a bit on the large side.
You might find going 2 more turns and your pyro wont really get much hotter.
The extra fuel will bring the turbo charger into its efficiency range..

    Oxbow and bigguns Thank this.

I have a 80 mm turbo on a 14L ddec 4 detroit. My pyro runs hotter just cruising but put the fuel to it and it actually cools off..

Not as of yet but I feel it is coming real soon.
I do the heavy truck nys inspections in my shop and when you load the truck in the computer it asks if you want to do an exhast smoke test.
I just replie no,but the software is already loaded on the computer.
we do not have the hardware to perform the test yet but I'm thinking it will be coming soon.
They are constantly updating the inspection requirements.
This year as of 1/1/2017 we were required to purchase tint meters and start checking window tint as part of the inspection.

    I've seen that too, unfortunately.

I watched one idiot cold start a mechanical DT466 that had blow by and immediately mash on it. When I asked about it, he said "gotta blow all that blowby outta there".

Gauges are hard to decipher which is which. Is that 40+lbs. of boost I see?

Around 42-43psi. She runs too warm to work with aluminum pistons though.
