It's a shame what has happened in radio..my last job in it was in 2006..its all voice tracking now..I started at my first station back in 1986..miss it but there is no money or jobs left in it.

So how many drivers once flew? I once had a private pilots license back in the mid 80's. Had to give it up due to the oil bust and lack of moolah.

Interesting enough is the fact that a lot of truck drivers make more than commercial airline pilots.

Flying was the funnest (and shortest) hobby I ever had. Very expensive. Maybe I can do it again someday, after I make some money driving a truck. LOL

    - Picture Framing (shipping, making custom frames, stocking)
    - Call center for take home defensive driving course, became a certified defensive driving instructor for this
    - Toys R Us stocker (1 day)
    - Connectivity for Exxon
    - Call center selling at&t long distance
    - Call center for Nextel porting people's telephone numbers
    - Dillards dept store (tailored clothing, ladies apparel sales manager, shoes sales manager, operations manager, buying office as analyst/financial planner and did some ladies shoe purchasing)
    - Trucking, couldn't stand cubicle life at the buying office anymore. Probably know more about ladies footwear than any other trucker, including the females.

I used to daydream when driving to work that I would keep on driving past it and just drive all day. Thought there might be something to that so thought I'd try trucking. I love to drive.
