If i dont like it i hook back on to my flatbed and roll on with that. As far as pay, benefits, and home time i can't pass up the opportunity

If this is hauling water, I think you’ll like it. It’s so #### easy.... when do you start? I’m sitting at the Poland bottling plant right now unloading. We may cross paths eventually

Thats the shift im hoping for as well, since itll get me a chance to maybe crawl into bed before sunrise. I wont give numbers but ill say the money is better than what i average currently living in the truck a week or more at a time. Im hoping it all works out and i like it

    Still alive. Still flatbedding.

Been stuck in new england for weeks waiting for a training class for the tank job. Finally had that last week. 1-3 weeks of flatbed left dependant on when a new hire is prepared to take over.

Missed my pickup window by 15 minutes on my back haul so im sitting from 3pm until 7am at a 7 11 with a little meth motel in phelps NY... Load at 730am and head for maine again. Really sucks that i wound up a day behind for being a little late but thats truckin

Hope everybody else is doing good

    Stay safe out there

Just touching base. Im still out here doing my thing lol

After multiple delays in the switch to pulling tanks, I have begun to get cold feet. I dont think im going to do it. I love what i do now and i think I'll keep doing it.

My long term career goal is self employment, so i feel like staying on the road is much more relevant to that goal

We have a few guys that have "lease purchased" trucks through the boss. Its not an advertised thing, but thise who have done it claim the terms are very reasonable.

I am VERY tempted to have a discussion about fixing everything on my old 600 freightliner and trying to purchase it. I absolutely love that truck and seeing it sit literally causes me heartache lol. I dont know that im ready to do it yet, but at the same time im past most babysitting, and i know the work is there with this company. So i dont know but id be more than happy to get some input on it

    Stay safe out there

More to come later im sure

Be very careful about a lease deal. Better off, if you can, to get a loan and buy your own truck and then sign on with the same company. Sounds like they treat you fairly so might work but go in with eyes wide open.

Our "lease purchase" is basically all company guys that wanted to owner finance the trucks they already were driving. Everyone has had good things to say so far. I doubt the boss would even consider doing what i want but a guy can dream lol. Theres just something about that particular truck...
