is getting closer to our one year since we started trucking and debating if we should try team LP or just work another year doing team LTL and try for team OO. any advice would be great !

If I were a established team already, I would stick to LTL and pretty much right my own ticket.

Well what you dont wanna do is LP. If you ask why then go read the 153 pages on this forum of why it didn't work at JB Hunt lease purchase. I know you don't wanna hear this but I would wait another year and save all you can, then go put some money down on a truck and at that point you will have enough money left over for repairs, etc... That's what I did and it's worked out great.

Definitely go LP. I love LP drivers!!! LP drivers have no leverage and are always willing to do the crap loads no else wants to do and it keeps my carrier from asking me to do them. Peons can be very useful people.
