That sounds about right. Truck only had a 3208 in it...sick sick sick. Out in Indiana it would run 70 mph all day, get close to a hill and get ready to downshift lol. That was a 77 model truck, had some early version of brake sensors on all 6 drums.
When things broke down in the field I was usually the oh to guy, fortunately I never had go pull a trans, some of that crap sucks....!!!! Especially with twin pto's on the trans.
Yep and the narrow 4900,4700 frame to have a twin counter shaft trans. Think I just puked in my mouth a little bit.
Racking my brains tonight men..... Wife got a call earlier, company needs 4 beams hauled to Columbus, 2 of the beams are 55' long. Not sure if I have enough room behind the sleeper or not. If my 5th wheel would free up and slide back I think it will work. Be doing some measuring in the morning.
@stwik Hey F you, no thanks or nothing. You can explain in am. Or I'm sicking the moose on you! Sleep with one eye open little stwik.
I had 2 feet off the front on mine with money slid back and had just enough room to be comfortable but had 6 feet off the rear.
