I'm new to the forum and to the trucking industry. Have read alot of bad stuff about the company I am going to work for (Swift). From what I can understand I will be learning not what to do. I am not a youngster, and take alot of pride in any task I take on. Swift may not be the best in the industry but in this economy anyone who will give me a chance to recover and support my family can't be all bad.

You Got it dude!!! use swift to gain the much needed Exp. Then get away from them, and find a small outfit to treat you better. PLUS........ Swift is what you make of it, a lot of guys like it, as an old timer told me when I first started... "Ears open, mouth shut" Good Luck!!
hey there Scottsman welcome to the group...well there is a difference between just driving the truck/miles and making a living...better check with drivers themselves and get a feel for how it is working right now for them...this is a tough business right now.....be careful...
