I have two '97 Dodge's. I'd like to sell the long box but they just ain't bringing much around here and it don't have 100k on it. Nothing wrong with it so it can just stay right here. I'd like to just fix up my '72 half ton and drive it the few miles I put on a year.

Going to replace the mudflaps here. At some point a set was put on that went halfway up that battery box. Problem is aside from the trailer park look of it that over time the mudflap gets wrinkly. Think I better fab a plate of aluminum for the back side and then hang a short flap under it. 15515655776556850192997349831570.jpg 15515656228068865239952898224857.jpg

If any of you have a better way to do this I'm all ears.

Bolt a piece of angle onto the bottom, cut the flap to 8” n punch 4 matching holes in each.
