There's something inherently wrong in jumping from a perfectly good aircraft. I had to do it once in 1970 but it wasn't intentional.

    Big Don Thanks this.

Yea! I didn't have any .50 cal. that shot 4,000 rounds a minute. Just 2-20mm. & lots of bombs. But those #### things.............at night when that thing was pounding out tracer rounds and they looked like a solid line.............

I was told there were 2-non-coms in there with coal shovels scooping out the casings. I wonder how many zipper-heads were dusted with a casing.....lol?

Like I said. That's almost worse than flying (if you can call it that) in one of those vibrating, beat you to death, helos. #### those things vibrate! But then anything that can't fly without a transmission made by Ford makes it naturally dangerous.

But I gotta admit, when that jolly green dropped that penetrator it looked very good.

It was about 40 years ago since I last flown. 150 & 172's Got my private but had that dang red green problem, so that ended the flying thing. Could not afford to fly just for fun,so ended up as a crew scheduler/planner for TWA.
Been thinking of grabbing a couple hours of dual time, just for kicks.

The answer to your obvious question is to find a Unionized, Fair and understanding Motor Carrier.
Trouble and difficulty usually develop by unreasonable unfair employers. Stay away from them, simple!

This is obvious. Everything you stated is true and CDL drivers should know every word of your post.
The problem lies in the lazy ###, unemployable drivers that should not be driving. Many want to be drivers but don't want to conform to what the demands of a CDL driver require. They want the pay, but not the conditions that come with it. This takes a unique breed, and if you cant deal with it...Macy's may have a shoe sales position opening up in a location near to you!!!
