I'm a full believer in the company trailer for preloaded loads. It gives you a lot of flexibility. That's been a big part of my SOP. But I've got it a bit more refined now.

How many miles? Do you have an APU?

Yeah, 48 hours of being stuck in some swampy Mississippi pit while they slowly getting around to loading your trailer, as the yard guy drags it around in the mud slamming it against stuff. I'll pass on that. I would go flatbed sooner than getting into owning my own van with landstar. Unless I get a lift gate...

I guess I'm thinking of the Rheem water heater factory in Montgomery Alabama. It's pretty swampy. Decent paying loads though. Georgia Pacific near Savannah GA is another place that has good paying preload but is way too sloppy to trust with own trailer.

I used to go down into that area and pick up Catfish and the place was more water than dirt. Not in a long time and hopefully never again.

Guy with laptop came. His software was non-lithuanian and had an actual working regen screen. He forced a regen and bam, all faults cleared. Then he charged me a very reasonable fee of $200 and drove off into the sunset like the hero that he is.

Now I'm about to head out, hopefully I'll make it through the PA hills and into the flats of Ohio before this happens again. And I am getting me a proper DDDL ASAP.
