I got this burning question. There is a story to it that I will share after I collect honest answers. Let's say yall make a wrong turn and find yourself on an interstate 7k over weight with no get off between you and the scales. So you call me from the rest area which is only place to stop between you and said scales. I tell you to blow em I do it all the time it be fine I swear. Would you blow em or go in and surrender?

 

Scale? What scale? I didn't see any scales.

 

Hell have you bought a new refrigerator with ice maker, about the same price tag.

 

Run it. Surrender is no option.

 

I was there last year, really enjoyed it. I hope to get back before leaving tomorrow. At Margaritaville now....

Now this was a old steel hauler trick before big air set ups were popular. Have you fifth wheel slider lubed well. Stretch it out, put a bottle jack under the nose of the trailer. Tie a rope from the jack to frame, short. DO NOT miss this step. Cross scales with tractor and quick spike of the brakes letting trailer and fifth wheel to come forward kicking the jack out. This is were you dont forget the rope. Lock fifthweel switch, stop up the way and recover your jack swing from the rope.
