Just bought this 379 and I will sale it for $39000. It has 475 Caterpillar with 10 speed transmission. Has to have a left front fender or not. You can work it as it if you like. Good looking truck just needs some TLC. Truck runs good and sounds good. Please text if interested.

I'd have never believed it, but we had an '01 379 daycab with 1.2 million on it, the paint is faded, chrome is stained, and the frame is cracked. The engine was just rebuilt two years ago, and has maybe 150k on it.

A Mennonite showed up one afternoon wanting to buy it. Boss says "Make an offer, here's what's wrong" and disclosed everything wrong with it. The Mennonite offered $22k for the truck. Needless to say, it was sold. A month later it got rolled in a cornfield.

Must not be too keen on selling it. No photos, no contact info etc.

If I send pictures you guys will probably want to give me $60,000....
As of right now I have it at Peterbilt put a new ECM on it. But since I posted it I have since put it to work and have considered keeping it a while longer. Thanks for all the posts. But just in case I do get an offer of 60 for it I might reconsider the Ideal of working it.
