    The headlights in my 2007 International 9400i will flash or flicker when the truck is parked and idling. Lights do not flicker when the tractor parking brake is pushed in or when the headlight switch is on so it seems to me like the daytime running light circuit would be the culprit. Has anyone else had this problem? I also need a picture of the fuse/relay diagram since my glove box door is missing and can't find a useable link for one on the internet. The unlucky guy parked across from me at this truck stop would really appreciate any help! Thanks

    I would unplug the DRL Module and see if the lights still flicker.

    I have a similar problem with my Volvo, the lights flash when I unlock/lock my doors, I unplugged the DRL Module and the problem went away.

    I didn't even know they had a DRL module. That's crazy. I figured it would just be some sort of switch on the yellow tractor brake knob to activate the circuit and of course a fuse or relay. Hmmm sounds about right though, engineers way overthinking things. Do you have any idea where this module would be located?

    It would most likely be where your fuses and relays are.

    On my Volvo it's black plastic and square, with flat bladed prongs that plug straight down into the fuse/convenience center.

    It looks like a relay.

    Ok thanks for the help. I'll look around and see if I can find anything like that. It would be nice just to unplug it if it's really that simple. I don't care for DRL's anyway. Still need a fuse/relay diagram though. There's no way I can figure out what each one is or does. Even if someone took a picture of the back of the glovebox door and sent it to me would be awesome

    I think they needed them in Canada trucks so they just wired them all I hear.

    Might be a sticky park brake switch. This also turns off the park brake warning light. This warning light would also be flickering in the dash, but you probably don't see it because the bulb was burnt out years ago. If the park brake switch is unplugged, it is the same signal as the brakes released all the time, so the DRL would stay on any time the key is on. You can disconnect the park brake switch and leave it disconnected for a while as a test to see if the switch is going bad. The switch will be located behind the main center tach/speedo area. It will have a yellow air line going to it. The wires on the connector will be labeled 44B, 16 gauge grey wire with 44GB, 16 gauge white wire.

    Here is the basic fuse/breaker panel layout;

    Awesome, thank you Heavyd! I was wondering why there was no light that came on when I popped the brakes. I'd say you're right... probably burnt out several years ago along with several other ones. I guess I need to go thru them as well because my fuel and air gauges also don't light up.

    Update- Pulled fuses F9-B & F9-C and problem solved. No more daytime running lights, no more flickering when parked, and no more pissed off drivers at the truck stop! Thanks again!
