got a 07 volvo vn tractor with IPC message of "check coolant level at next stop". No fault codes. Replaced coolant level sensor and cleaned coolant tank with same result. Ohm wiring from sensor to ECU connector with no resistance found. Anyone come across this?:biggrin_25524:

on some coolant tanks sensor is just a magnetic switch, floating magnet is inside tank. When tank goes bad, magnet sink ore stuck, so....

to be sure try to use small magnet to check sensor

if ISX, there is coolant level unit. Low coolant data via J1708 datalink.....

If it's not "losing" coolant, you should be able to just unplug the sensor and be fine from there
