Truck was down for a couple days. Took it to get loaded and it drove fine, shifted, everything. Once loaded I took off down the road. About 1/2 mile down the road it wouldn't shift into high range anymore. What could be the cause?

Usually with no air they default to high. Though I have seen a bad regulator, as well as slave valve cause it to hang in low or high range

    SAR Thanks this.

Could be an air line etc, but drain your air tanks. More times than not it’s too much water in the tanks.

Busted synchro? Air line? Selector valve? Piled up piston?
