The tractor marker lights, and dash lights are on the same circut. With the dash dimer switch turned to off the marker lights remain on as soon as I turn the dimmer switch up the fuse blows and all goes out.The power that feeds the dimmer switch is fed from the head light switch and then activates the dash lights. Also there is no power going to the heater blower switch and I can not locate the fuse or power supply going to it .Dont know if these to problems are related or not but both started at the same time. Any help would be appreciated ,Thanks.
Probably the PCB's. Quite the doozy redoing those, but I've done it. Don't bother paying for new ones, just resolder the ones in the gauge cluster. You could try pulling all the lights out. Also check the light for the heater controls.
I have an '07 780 that I lost all the dash lighting, numerous trips to mechanics could not find the problem, expensive fishing trips! I found it was one loose bulb, they are all in series like cheap Christmas lights, lose one they all go out. So it looks like you need to start checking each light location for a rubbed or crossed wire.
I am having a problem with my dash lights. My speedometer and tachometer will not light up. All the lights and gauges work but only the speedometer and tachometer do not light up. Are there any fixes available?
No fault codes. Even when I do a dash instrument self check nothing comes up. I have put in another gage cluster and all the lights work. So I assume it's the cluster. But is there any fix or do I have to get a new cluster?
