    I'm an owner operator and own a 2006 780 with d12d engine.

On the drivers display there are some menus that have a keysymbol and I cannot adjust the settings even using the 0000 password ( which works on menus without the key symbol)

Is there a shop or higher level default password that may allow me access to these menus?

    Thanks!

try 1111 or 1234 or 5555 sometime people set up stupid passwords so they do not allow the driver access the only way to pass these passwords is go to a volvo dealer and they remove them with a laptop depends on the dealer will set you back from 100 to 300 depends on how much labor they ask for and labor rate

1234 was the correct password. Say i change max rpms under fleet limits from 2000 (current setting) to 1800... does it set a notification on the display if over- rpms occurs or does it accually limit the engine rpms. Also if i were to set max vehicle speed to 70 under fleet limits, would it limit vehicle speed to 70?

    Thanks

No, the way to adjust the vehicule speed is Volvo PTT tool, the fact to adjust the speed with the cluster will tell you how often the vehicule speed has been above your trigger point during the trip, same thing for the engine RPM.
