2013 international (2-2012 manufacture date) maxxforce 13, 410hp. Drivers fine for hour or so, then power loss, temp goes up to 200, hills I climb at 65 now climb at best 45 in 9th and sometimes less, takes forever to get over 55 on flat ground, And ultra shift transmission will only start in first gear when this happens and wont let me shift up when normally starts in 3rd.
Sometimes can turn off few minutes and runs great again for an hour, sometimes have to disconnect power to reset, sometimes nothing helps but sitting over night then runs fiber in morning for an hour. Changed all filters, had dpf and doc cleaned, replaced egr valve and ran much better but crank case oil separater went out, replaced, ran great 230 miles then power loss again. Got a code for power loss in data cable between in cab ecm but doesn't say what component. Found that cable and vansco pocket module are related. Does the vansco controlle any transmission modules?

This is usually the fuel pump worn out and it can't make full pressure anymore once fully hot. That is why it runs great until a few hours into your day. Just letting it cool down for a few minutes is all it takes to make proper pressure again. Once this gets bad enough it will start to log 3055 fuel pressure codes. But proper diag needs to be done and you can't do much without someone connected to it with Navistar Engine Diagnostics software to see that the pressures are.

Thank you sir, was kind of thinking it might be bad. Would that cause the transmission to only start in 1st gear when it occurs? I'm getting a high fuel fuel rail and low egr when tested, both of which say healing. Eaton ultra shift, mormaly starts in 3rd but will not let me manually change. Same thing thou, it starts back in 3rd after cooling a few minutes. That's what has me baffled.

Sorry, I missed the issue with the trans. Could be a number of things, sensor, datalink issues. Your next step would be have the codes read from the trans and diagnose from there.
